Senior GIS Analyst for Bahrain VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Technology Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India. VAMSYSTEMS is currently looking for Senior GIS Analyst for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: At least 6 years experience in the same field • Strong people skills. • A solid record of accomplishment in the planning, design, and management of Integrated and open enterprise GIS operations on a national scope, employing Oracle Spatial and ESRI environments. • Must be able to define the scope, direction and advancement of GIS operations on the behalf of the customer. • Must have expert knowledge in geospatial data creation best practices. Have familiarity with land surveying principles and practices. • Must be able to oversee the development of GIS applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness in applicable areas of GIS operations related to customer needs. • Requires familiarity with developing web applications in Java and Oracle Application Server that operate in an ESRI environment within the services oriented architecture. • Must demonstrate an ability to conceptualize and develop enterprise GIS systems, and lead multi-disciplinary teams and personnel in implementing geospatial systems. • Must have in-depth knowledge of enterprise and application life cycles and current awareness oftrends and practices in GIS technology. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other staff members within IT and broadly within the college administration. • Be able to speak and write coherently in the English language. • Provide two work related and one personal reference. • Provide evidence of a clean police record from the relevant country's authority. • Hold a medical certificate to Bahrain Immigration. • Hold a clean Bahrain Drivers License. Desired Skills • GIS database design • GIS application design • Oracle RDBMS environments. • Oracle Spatial 9i and 109. • ArcGIS 9.x desktop clients • Arc Web Services • ArcIMS 9.x • ArcObjects • PL/SQL • GPS/mobile GIS computing • ArcSDE/ArcGIS Server 9.x, • GIS system architecture design strategies. • OGC and open GIS data architecture standards Terms and conditions: Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organization in Bahrain.
